Chris Meilhammer is the Founder and CEO of HammerTech Solutions, where he leads the company’s strategic vision and growth initiatives with a focus on delivering advanced information, security, and telecommunications solutions to both public and private sector clients. With more than 25 years of leadership and technical experience, Chris brings a proven track record of driving innovation, leading global teams, and enabling mission-critical digital transformation.

Before founding HammerTech Solutions, Chris served as CEO of Tyto Athene, where he oversaw the company’s global operations and successfully led the integration of teams, technologies, and processes following the acquisition of AT&T Government Solutions Inc. During his tenure, he played a key role in establishing Octo-Athene—a joint venture designed to accelerate federal government modernization through emerging technologies such as AI, 5G, blockchain, and data interoperability.

Chris began his private-sector career at Black Box Government Solutions after retiring from the U.S. Marine Corps in 2012 with over 20 years of honorable service. At Black Box, he held several executive positions, including Chief Architect and Vice President of Engineering and Sales. He was instrumental in the company’s transformation into Tyto Athene and was later appointed as President and COO.

During his military career, Chris served in various high-impact roles, including Program Manager for the Marine Corps' global telecommunications infrastructure at Marine Corps Systems Command in Quantico, Virginia. In that role, he managed more than $4 billion in assets and led a team of over 2,000 personnel worldwide.

Chris holds a Level III certification in Program Management and Information Technology from the Defense Acquisition University. He studied Management Information Systems at the University of Maryland and Acquisition Management at the Naval Postgraduate School.

 Alexandra (Alex) Lang is the Chief Administrative Officer at HammerTech Solutions, where she leads the company’s core administrative and operational functions, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and organizational alignment across the enterprise. With a strong foundation in both people-centered leadership and operational execution, Alex is recognized for her ability to build scalable processes, optimize business operations, and foster a culture of accountability and transparency.

In her role, Alex oversees contracting, human resources, payroll, accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, along with other mission-critical administrative functions. She plays a central role in establishing and maintaining the systems and processes that enable the organization to operate effectively, ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and seamless day-to-day execution. Her leadership supports both internal operations and the company’s broader strategic growth objectives.

Alex brings a unique perspective shaped by her background in education, applying a structured, solutions-oriented approach to complex operational challenges. She is known for her ability to streamline workflows, implement efficient systems, and support organizational development initiatives that enhance both performance and team cohesion.

Known for her integrity, adaptability, and attention to detail, Alex serves as a trusted partner to leadership and a key contributor to the company’s continued growth. Her commitment to building strong operational foundations and supporting high-performing teams positions HammerTech Solutions for long-term success.  Alex holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Special Education from Radford University.

 Taylor Cruttenden is the Program Director at HammerTech Solutions, where he leads the execution of complex IT modernization and infrastructure programs supporting federal defense customers. With over a decade of experience in the federal IT sector, Taylor is recognized for his ability to deliver mission-critical solutions, lead high-performing teams, and drive operational excellence across complex and dynamic environments.

Prior to joining HammerTech Solutions, Taylor served in leadership roles supporting Department of War customers, to include the U.S. Marine Corps, Defense Information Systems Agency, Air Force Special Operations Command, and the Intelligence Community. In these roles, he directed large-scale base modernization and enterprise network deployment initiatives, leading cross-functional teams and strategic industry partners to deliver impactful, mission-aligned outcomes. He has built a reputation for strengthening client relationships, navigating complex program challenges, and consistently securing follow-on work through trusted performance and delivery excellence.

Taylor most recently held the title of Associate Director at By Light Professional IT Services, where he supported enterprise IT portfolios and strategic program execution across defense-focused initiatives. Earlier in his career, he held Senior Program Manager and Program Manager roles at General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), where he played a key role in delivering large-scale modernization efforts and advancing critical communications infrastructure in support of global operations.

Taylor holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and maintains additional credentials in ITIL 4 Foundation and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), reflecting his commitment to disciplined program execution, service management excellence, and agile delivery methodologies. He leverages these certifications to drive structured, efficient, and results-oriented program outcomes across complex environments. Taylor earned a B.A. in Biology from Belmont Abbey College.
